Danny Sparks

Danny Sparks

Chief Executive Officer

Danny began his real estate career in 2002 at KB Home, one of the nation’s largest public homebuilding companies. As a recent college graduate, KB Home proved to be an ideal training ground. Danny enjoyed working hard during the heart of the U.S. residential real estate boom in various roles including Construction Superintendent, Project Manager, and Land Acquisition Associate. Danny still views his four-year experience at KB Home as a true building block for the rest of his career.

In 2006, Danny joined Hearthstone Advisors, an institutional equity advisor to several of the nation’s largest pension funds. As a VP of Investment Management, Danny oversaw the underwriting and asset management of projects across the country that totaled more than $500M in equity. During the eight years that Danny worked at Hearthstone, he grew into leadership roles and greatly expanded his range of experience on the investor side of real estate development.

In 2013, Danny joined Mountain Real Estate Capital (MREC), an advisor to private equity real estate funds. As Regional Director of Asset Management, Danny oversaw underwriting and asset management for MREC’s West Coast office. During the five years that Danny worked at MREC, he was pivotal in growing MREC’s West Coast footprint, served in leadership roles, and helped develop best-in-class underwriting, asset management, and reporting procedures.

Recognizing a need in the institutional real estate sector for tailored and nimble asset management, underwriting, and investment services, Danny formed Harvest Real Estate Services in January 2018.

Danny graduated from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, with a degree in City and Regional Planning and a minor in Real Property Development. He enjoys an active lifestyle in San Diego with his wife and two rambunctious boys.
